Sand Dollar Resort Condominiums are located directly on Indian Shores overlooking the waters of the Gulf of Mexico between Clearwater and St Petersburg on the west coast of Florida. The Gulf Boulevard Road runs along the entire 40 kilometre stretch of white sandy beaches between St Petersburg and Clearwater. The resort's central location offers visitors a multitude of activities. There are watersports, fishing, deep sea fishing, boat excursions, including dolphin watching and casino boat trips, golfing, tennis, sight seeing, restaurants, bars and shopping all nearby and along the coastline. Family attractions like Walt Disney World Resorts, Sea World, Busch Gardens, Universal Studios and more are all within driving distance from the resort. The condominiums are fully equipped self-catering units with two and three bedroom condominiums available. All the units are fully furnished, spacious and equipped with modern up-to-date amenities and a BBQ. Each unit has a fully functional equipped kitchen, spacious living areas and a balcony overlooking the white sandy beach of Indian Shores and the azure waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Facilities include a swimming pool, jacuzzi, volleyball and the large expanse of Indian Shores white sandy beach. The resort has a private pier for the use of condominium owners and guests staying at the resort and is located directly outside the hotel on the beach.

Location Description
Sand Dollar Resort Condominiums are located directly on Indian Shores overlooking the waters of the Gulf of Mexico between Clearwater and St Petersburg Beaches. The Gulf Boulevard Road runs along the entire 40 kilometre stretch of white sandy beaches between St Petersburg and Clearwater. The resort's central location offers visitors a multitude of activities including watersports, fishing, deep sea fishing, boat excursions, including dolphin watching and casino boat trips, golfing, tennis, sight seeing, restaurants, bars and shopping all nearby and along the coastline areas with a favourite being Johns Pass Village. Family attractions like Walt Disney World Resorts, Sea World, Busch Gardens, Universal Studios and more are all within driving distance from the resort. The "Trolley" is a local bus service that stops immediately outside the resort. The “Trolley” travels up and down the entire beach stretch from 05:00 to 23:00 daily at regular intervals. Tampa International Airport is located 30 kilometres from the resort with a driving time of approximately 40 minutes depending on traffic. St Petersburg Clearwater International Airport is located 19 kilometres from the resort with a driving time of approximately 30 minutes depending on traffic. A Super Shuttle service which stops directly at the resort is available to and from the airports and is chargeable.
Layout Description
Sand Dollar Resort Condominiums are located on Gulf Boulevard Road in Indian Shores and situated directly on the beachfront. The condominiums are fully equipped self-catering units run by JC Resort Management with two and three bedroom condominiums available. All the units are fully furnished and equipped with modern up-to-date amenities. Each unit has a fully functional equipped kitchen, spacious living areas and a balcony overlooking the white sandy beach of Indian Shores and the azure waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Sand Dollar Condominiums Resort has five floors served by one lift. The managing agent’s office and front desk is located on the ground floor of the building with the lift off the reception area. Facilities include a swimming pool, jacuzzi and the large expanse of Indian Shores white sandy beach which is accessible directly from the resort's swimming pool area. The resort has a private pier for the use of condominium owners and guests staying at the resort and is located directly outside the hotel on the beach.

JC Resort Management are the managing agents for Sand Dollar Resort Condominiums. The management company’s front desk services are available Monday to Sunday from 09:00 to 17:00. Arrivals after 17:00 must be confirmed in advance for the necessary arrangements to be made for guest's key collection.

Payment Methods All major credit cards and cash are accepted on booking. A damage deposit is required on checking- in and entails a swipe of either a Master or Visa card.
Foreign Exchange There is no foreign exchange available.
Taxis Arranged Taxis are booked by telephone as there are no taxi ranks in the vicinity. The front desk is happy to book taxis during opening hours or alternatively guests can call a taxi service themselves.
Tours Arranged There are tour information pamphlets available in the management front desk offices. Excursions and tours need to be booked directly by the guest at the appropriate tour operators outfits.
Guest Relations The management office’s front desk services include check-in and check-out and assistance with housekeeping or maintenance staff. Printing, faxing (which is chargeable) and printing of guest's boarding passes for flights are available during opening hours. Information is available at the front desk on the condominiums' surrounding areas for shopping, medical facilities and places of interest to visit.

Medical Facilities There is a walk-in medical clinic called "Doctor's In" which is located approximately six kilometres south in Madeira Beach. The medical facility is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 17:00 and on Saturday 08:00 to 12:00. They are closed on Sunday. There are two major hospitals, St Pete General and the Sun Coast Hospital, both of which are approximately a fifteen minute drive away
Parking There is parking available in the condominiums' uncovered car park area located directly at the front of the resort. Two parking permits are available for each condominium unit. There is no charge for parking.

Sand Dollar Condominium Resort units offer self-catering accommodation. The managing agent's, JC Resort Management, have a guest services front office on the ground floor of the resort's building. Front office services are available for guest check-in and check -out from 09:00 to 17:00 daily. Check-in after office hours must be confirmed in advance and guests will be informed on how to collect their keys. The lift lobby is located on the ground level in the management office’s reception area and serves all five guestroom floors. The entrance to the swimming pool and beach areas is located by walking through the covered car park area on ground floor level.

There is a 711 convenience store located approximately one and a half kilometres from the resort which also has an ATM cash machine. Winn Dixxie on Park Boulevard is located three kilometres away and is a main grocery store. Tyrone indoor shopping mall with many mega super stores is located approximately 12 kilometres away. Johns Pass Village which is located several kilometres travelling south toward St Pete Beach has a wide variety of shops, restaurants, cafes, and bars. The nearest bank to the resort is Fifth Third Bank which is approximately half a kilometre from the resort.

Sand Dollar Resort Condominiums are all privately owned and are managed by JC Resort Condominiums for holiday rentals. The units offer self-service holiday accommodation and are available for daily, weekly and monthly rentals. There are two and three bedroom units available each of which is individually decorated and furnished by the unit's owners. All the condominiums have a spacious private balcony directly overlooking the waters of the Gulf of Mexico or have a surrounding view. Each unit is fully furnished, well equipped and include a fully equipped kitchen, bed linen and towels.

Two bedroom condominiums are approached via the lift along open corridors looking over the front of the building to the open car park area. Each two bedroom unit is extremely spacious, decorated in pastel tones and has colourful soft furnishings. The fully furnished and well equipped units all have their own individuality as each unit is decorated and furnished by the condominium's owner. There is a long passage way leading into the apartment with the two bedrooms and bathroom located off this area. The bedrooms have a large walk-in closet with plenty of clothes hanging and storage space. At the end of the passageway is the open plan living area with a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious dining area with table and chairs and a lounge furnished with sofas and chairs. The lounge has floor-to-ceiling sliding balcony doors leading out onto a furnished balcony with panoramic views of the beach and waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The bathrooms in each unit vary and may have a walk-in shower or bath with shower over it.

Three bedroom condominiums have the same layout as the two bedroom condominiums but have a master bedroom located off the lounge area. Each condominium is furnished and decorated in a similar way but has its own individuality as it has been decorated and furnished by the unit's owner. The master bedroom has sliding balcony doors leading out to the balcony that stretches along the length of the lounge area with panoramic views of the beach and clear waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

There are no restaurants on the resort's complex. Within one and a half kilometres of the resort and along the coastline are restaurants offering both informal and formal dining. Johns Pass Village which is several kilometres down the coast travelling south has a wide variety of eating establishments.

The resort has no business facilities. Each room has wired Internet access available which is free of charge. The front office will carry out photocopying, printing including flight boarding passes and faxing for guests. Faxing is chargeable.

The management office's front desk is able to give a list of babysitters available to guests. Guests must however make their own babysitting arrangements.
Cranley Comment
There is no children's swimming pool on the complex. Children (when accompanied by an adult) are able to use the main outdoor swimming pool which is unsupervised. Children under 12 are not permitted to use the jacuzzi. The swimming pool and jacuzzi areas are surrounded with white fencing and are gated. The pool area is directly on Indian Shores Beach front which stretches for several kilometres of white sandy beach where children can swim and have fun in the sand. The water's edge is approximately fifty feet from the pool area and is shallow for quite a way out. Twenty to thirty feet off shore is a sand bar which is ideal for shell collecting. There is a bird sanctuary located on the beach area and is just a two minute walk from the hotel where children and adults can see a variety of rescued birds. The resort’s private pier is located immediately outside the pool area and is available for fishing. Next to the pier on the sands, children can play beach volleyball and there is a net provided. The condominiums do not have any baby cribs or rollaway beds. These can be arranged on booking, are chargeable and hired through an outside company.

Location The resort is located directly on Indian Shores Beach.
Description Indian Shores Beach is located along the Gulf Boulevard Road travelling north towards Clearwater Beach overlooking the Gulf of Mexico waters. Indian Shores is a white sandy beach and extends into Indian Rocks Beach heading north towards Clearwater Beach and the beaches of Redington shores going south towards St Pete Beach.

Size/Frontage Indian Shores Beach runs for a distance of approximately several kilometres. From the beach entrance to the water's edge varies according to where the beach has been entered. The minimum length to the water's edge is approximately 50 feet.
