Location Description
Pelican Pointe Resort is located in the heart of the Clearwater Beach area off Gulf Boulevard Road. The self catering condominium resort is just a few steps across the road to the white sandy Clearwater Beach area. Gulf Boulevard Road runs along the entire forty kilometre stretch of coastline with pristine white sandy beaches overlooking the waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Clearwater Beach is located to the north of Gulf Boulevard Road and St Pete Beach to the south. The area offers a wide range of water sport activities with many rental hire companies available. The Clearwater Beach area has a multitude of restaurants, cafes, shops and nightlife all within a kilometre of the hotel. Family attractions like Walt Disney World Resorts, Sea World, Busch Gardens, Universal Studios and more are all within driving distance from the resort. The "Trolley" is a local bus service stopping immediately outside the resort and travels up and down the entire beach stretch areas from 05:00 to 23:00 daily at regular intervals. Tampa International Airport is located approximately 32 kilometres from the resort with a driving time of approximately forty minutes depending on traffic. St Petersburg Clearwater International Airport is located approximately 19 kilometres from the resort with a driving time of approximately thirty minutes depending on traffic. There is a Super Shuttle service available to and from both airports and is chargeable.

Layout Description
Pelican Point Resort has condominium type self catering units with 61 guest rooms located over four floors. The open plan rooms have a small kitchen and dining area, a lounge with a sofa bed, bedroom and one bathroom. The resort's reception area is located on the ground floor and has a small seating area with tables and chairs. The reception seating area is used in the morning to serve coffee and a light continental breakfast. From the reception office an open passageway leads to the one lift and stairways leading to the guestrooms. Each floor has an open passage leading to the rooms which have pool, corridor or semi-gulf views. The open corridors looking over the swimming pool and road have two seats and a table outside each room. On the second floor, a slightly wider terrace toward the far end of the lift area is furnished with sun beds, tables and umbrellas. The property is L-shaped with facilities including an outdoor swimming pool which is on ground floor. The swimming pool area is fenced, gated and surrounded with large palm trees and the hotel’s car parking area.

Pelican Pointe has 61 rooms with either partial gulf, pool or corridor views. The resort's guestrooms are individually owned and managed by Condos by Sirata Vacation Rentals. Each guestroom is of a similar configuration, furnished and decorated in a similar way but with added individual owner's touches. The guestrooms are spacious and equipped with modern amenities. Each room has a sofa bed and is ideal for family sharing. There are windows at either end of the guestroom making them reasonably bright and airy. The open plan guestrooms have a bedroom, lounge and kitchenette area and are partially segregated by either the bathroom in the middle or a half wall between the bedroom and living area. Some of the rooms have the bathroom at the far end of the guestroom and some have the bathroom in between the lounge and bedroom areas. All the rooms have free wireless Internet access and are equipped with a coffee making machine, fridge and microwave. There are no cooking utensils, crockery or cutlery provided.

The guestrooms are approached along open concrete corridors with a seating area outside each room. The rooms have tiled floors except the bedroom which is carpeted. Each room is decorated in pastel tones and features dark-wood furnishings, lively tropical bed covers and have a television in the bedroom and in the lounge area. The lounge has a double sofa bed, a small table and two chairs. There is a large window with blinds at each end of the guestroom. The kitchenette is equipped with a microwave, fridge and sink unit with a work surface area. Gulf view bedrooms have a choice of either king-size or twin beds. Pool view rooms all have queen-size beds and corridor rooms have a choice of king-size or queen-size beds. Bathrooms all have a shower over the bath.

Description Clearwater Beach is a white sandy beach overlooking the Gulf of Mexico on the West Coast of Florida. Gulf Boulevard Road stretches for 40 kilometres along the west coast with Clearwater Beach being located at the far end going north.

Size/Frontage It is approximately 0.4 kilometres from the edge of the beach to the water's edge although this varies at a number of points. The beach covers an area of several kilometres.

Clearwater Beach stretches over several kilometres and is a white sandy beach overlooking the crystal clear waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The beach is located at the far end of Gulf Boulevard Road travelling north and is located next to Sand Key Park. There are a multitude of water sports available, including parasailing, jet skiing, fishing, surfing, boat rentals and custom excursions. These can all be booked through various operators in and around the beach area. Loungers and parasols are also available to rent through numerous outlets located on the beach and surrounding areas. There are many other places of interest to visit along the beach stretch including shopping centres, restaurants and historical venues. Some of the places nearby include Clearwater Marine Aquarium and Pier 60.
