Cranley Summary
The Coral Beach Resort is a full resort hotel, with its own private beach, located on the Corniche Road on the Ajman side of Sharjah city centre. The room type and décor theme is the same throughout each of the rooms, which can be configured as Twin/Double or Triple Rooms and through the use of two or three connecting rooms can also be made into One or Two Bedroom Suites. None of the rooms have balconies and they have either Sea or City views, though the higher level rooms on the sea side of the hotel offer a better perspective. The hotel also has 5 four bedroom villas which are located across the road from the main hotel and therefore have the benefit of a level of privacy, whilst at the same time having access to all the hotel facilities. The only drawback with the villas is the need to cross a main road to reach them.

The whole hotel and its grounds are wheelchair accessible, with sloping paths in the gardens as an alternative to steps wherever they appear. There are no disabled toilet facilities.

Rooms & Bathrooms
There are two bedrooms that have low level spyholes on the doors and where a small modification has been made to the screen on the bath, allowing easier access for mobility impaired guests.

All restaurants are wheelchair accessible, but there are no special provisions with large print menus for guests who are visually impaired. Dietary requests can be met but advance notice is preferred.
Recreation Facilities
Wheelchair accessible with paths leading to the beach, Family Pool and Waves pool bar.
Staff Assistance
All staff are trained to provide the maximum assistance to all guests.
Cranley Comment
Although the hotel and its grounds are readily accessible to mobility impaired guests, the lack of adapted bedrooms means that such guests may find it difficult to negotiate their way around their bedroom and bathroom. All of the hotel's facilities are at ground floor level or can be reached via the footpaths in the grounds. Most have gentle slopes, with only the tennis courts having a steep gradient down to them from the pool area.

Cranley Comment
The hotel has measures in place to use recycled water on the gardens, and politely requests guests to minimise water usage. It has 'Go Green' labels and separate stickers in the bathrooms asking guests to consider reusing towels and not having bed linen changed every day. Lights in the guest corridors are sensor activated to reduce energy consumption. Beach cleaning is a continuous process.
