The hotel is located in the business district of Deira just 3 kms from Dubai airport and 5km from the World Trade Centre. The original building was built ten years ago but the Rimal Rotana was completely re-fitted in 2005. There are two room types; Deluxe rooms with twin or double bed configurations and Two-bedroom Suites. The Deluxe room has basic kitchen facilities whilst the Suite has a full kitchen. The rooms are decorated to a high standard with light beige walls and good quality dark furniture. The bathrooms have marble counters and marble effect flooring. As well as the kitchen facilities in the rooms, the Rimal Rotana has a 24 hour coffee shop serving light snacks and meals. It also serves a buffet breakfast. The hotel has a rooftop terrace with swimming pool and sun loungers and a full gym.

Rimal Rotana Suites are set back about 40 metres from Al Murraqbat Street which gives it the advantage of central location but slightly back from the passing traffic. It is five minutes from Dubai international airport and 5 kms from the World Trade Centre and is within walking distance from the major shopping malls of Deira. Despite being close to the airport the Suites do not suffer any adverse noise effect. For those not familiar with Dubai, Deira is the ‘Old Dubai’ and houses numerous souks (shopping malls) and established businesses.

Layout Description
The hotel is set back about 40 meters from the main road and has an undercover entrance. Inside guests enter the lobby with the reception desk immediately in front and to the right is the business centre, café and lifts. The rooms occupy the first seven floors and on the roof level is a full gym and rooftop pool.

The lobby is decorated in a modern contemporary style with cream marble floors, chrome light fittings, plants and a glass-enclosed business centre. The reception desk is immediately in front of the glass entrance. The reception desk has three terminals for guest check-in and check-out and also concierge services. To the right of the front desk is the glass-enclosed business centre and opposite is the Moka café.

Both room types are decorated in the same style. The principle difference is that the Suite is double the size of the Deluxe room. The Suite has a full kitchen with washing machine and fridge/freezer. Rooms are decorated to a high standard with walls painted a dark beige colour and good quality dark wood furniture. All bathrooms have black marble tops, white sinks and white sanitary wear with beige marble effect flooring.

The Deluxe room incorporates a kitchen in the room comprising of a work-top, hob and extractor fan, under-counter units and fridge. The bedroom is decorated to a high standard with dark beige walls, brown striped curtains and dark wood furniture to complete the theme. The room also has a floor to ceiling window to allow light to flow into the room. Guests should note that the Deluxe room does not include a washing machine, although a sameday laundry service is provided for items dropped off before 09.00.

The two bedroom suite comprises a small entrance hall with a guest bathroom and kitchen and leads into the lounge/dinning room. The two bedrooms are accessed off either side of the lounge. The overall suite is decorated stylishly with light beige walls, marble effect flooring and good quality dark wood furniture. The suite has the benefit of a full size galley style kitchen with fridge/freezer and washing machine. The master bedroom has a dressing area from which the en-suite bathroom leads. The guest bedroom is also en- suite and is well proportioned but does not have a television. All rooms have floor to ceiling windows to allow ample natural light into the suite.

The Moka café is open plan to the reception and therefore decorated in the same contemporary style as the lobby area. The café has square glass-top tables with cream leather chairs and overlooks one of the streets. The café serves a range of salads and sandwiches and also fuller meals like grilled fish, pasta and steak. Food can also be ordered and delivered to the room 24 hours a day.

The business centre is located next to reception in a cubicle of about 12 square metres with glass walls, glass ceiling and a glass floor set over pebbles with coloured lights around the perimeter. Within the cubicle is two new laptop notebooks as well as a leather sofa.

Description Jumeirah Beach Park is a public beach open from 8:00 to 23:00. Visitors must pay a small charge to enter the beach area and sun loungers and parasols are available for hire. Visitors to the Jumeirah Beach Park should note that one day per week is designated as 'Ladies Only' day and they should check before visiting which day it is.

The Jumeirah Beach Park is a public beach with a small charge for entry. The beach park has a large beach with lifeguards, sun lounger and parasol hire, toilet facilities and a snack bar for cold drinks and fast food refreshments. There is a grassed area and an area planted with trees, where barbeques are available for public use. There are football goals and beach volleyball facilities on the beach in addition to an adventure type playground to keep younger children entertained.
