The Burjuman Rotana Suites is located in Bur Dubai which is one of the older areas of Dubai. The Suites opened in May 2007 and are built adjacent and connected to the Premier Burjuman Shopping Mall which has a host of designer boutiques and department stores. The Burjuman Rotana Suites are built in two towers with a reception/lobby on the ground floor which links the two towers. The Suites have several accommodation types from a one bedroom Classic Suite to the Penthouse with four bedrooms. All suites are decorated in a modern style and benefit from the latest technology, high quality furnishings, wood or tiled flooring and floor to ceiling windows which provide especially in the higher floors views over the Dubai skyline. One of the benefits of the suites is that they are connected to the Burjuman Shopping Centre which has a range of world famous top end boutiques. department stores as well as many restaurants and cafes. For exercise the suites are connected to one of the largest fitness centres in the Middle East to which guests have complimentary membership and can join one of 80 different weekly exercise classes. The fitness centre also has a pool and terrace. For meetings there are a number of meeting rooms that are adaptable to accommodate various meeting types.

The hotel is located in a unique position adjoining Burjuman Mall which is one of Dubai's premier shopping malls with a large number of high end boutiques and stores. It is also well positioned for the commercial area of Bur Dubai and is just on the opposite side of the Creek from Deira. Its location means it is about fifteen minutes from Dubai International Airport and 20 minutes from the Jumeirah Beach Area. The hotel runs a shuttle service to the public beach at Jumeirah. The other major shopping centres like the Mall of the Emirates are fifteen minutes away as is Ski Dubai. Very near to the hotel is an array of electrical and computer shops, the Meena Bazaar with its gold, clothing and electronics and authentic restaurants ranging from Iranian to Gujarati. For historical and cultural interests the Dubai museum is very close, as well as Sheik Rashid's original home that is now a tourist attraction.

Layout Description
The Burjuman Rotana Suites being located in the city centre has all its facilities located in the building. On the ground floor is the reception and concierge. There are lifts on the right hand and left hand side of the ground floor which access the rooms and facilities in the two towers. The restaurant and access to the Burjuman shopping Mall are on the third floor as are the meeting rooms. The gym is located at Fitnessfirst which is next door to the hotel and accessed from the fourth floor. The guest suites are located on floors four to twenty three.

The lobby comprises of a large front desk which is immediately in front of you as you enter the building with the concierge desk to the left. There is a small seating area at the front of the lobby and to the right hand side. Either side of the front desk is corridors which lead to the two sets of lifts. The lobby in keeping with the theme of the hotel is decorated in a modern stylish way with light woods and marble.

There are no dedicated facilities in the hotel but the hotel has direct access into the Burjuman shopping centre which is one of the premier shopping malls in Dubai and has a range of exclusive boutiques such as Versace, Louis Vitton, Prada, Saks Fifth Avenue, Burberry etc. Within the shopping centre is also a range of restaurants and cafes serving a range of food including Italian, Asian and Indian. Also nearby are Dubai's main gold Souk and a range of more traditional shops and supermarkets.

The Burjuman Rotana Suites have a number of sizable suite types which the majority are one bedroom with the Junior and Executive having a fully fitted kitchen. All the Suites have views of the city with the higher ones having the best views. The Junior and Executive Suites benefit from large balconies whilst the Junior Suite has a balcony albeit a lot smaller. For guests wanting more sizable accommodation and the ultimate luxury the Town House and Penthouse are an ideal option. The Suites are all decorated in a stylish modern theme with wood /stone floors, have a television in the bedroom as well as the lounge and have dining tables for four persons. There are no connecting options.

The Classic Suite is a one bedroom suite that is spacious at 63/70 sqm and benefits from having a bedroom that is separate from the lounge/dinning room. On entering the suite there is an entrance corridor which on one side has cupboards concealing the fridge and washing machine and also additional closet space. The hallway leads into the combined lounge/dinning room which has floor to ceiling windows providing from the higher floors views of the city and the ocean or creek at a distance. At the end of the lounge is the doorway to the bedroom with the design of the suite allowing the en-suite bathroom to be accessed from the lounge and the bedroom. The suite is decorated in a modern stylish way with wood and stone floors, dark leather chairs and abstract prints on the walls. The suites also benefit from having a balcony that runs the width of the suite and can be accessed from the bedroom and the lounge.

The Junior Suite’s principle benefit over the Classic Suite is that it comes with a study area and has a fully fitted kitchen. You enter the suite into the square shaped lounge with the study area off to one side. There is a small balcony with table and chairs off the study area. The dining area is part of the lounge but off to one side and incorporates an open plan fully fitted kitchen. The bedroom is similar to the Classic Suite with the overall décor also the same stylish design as the Classic Suite.

The Executive Suites are located in the corner of the building and have a large entrance corridor which leads into a dinning area and open plan fully fitted kitchen. The lounge leading from the dining area is a substantial size and has a feature of floor to ceiling windows on two aspects. The balcony is accessed from the lounge and wraps around two sides of the lounge. The bedroom is similar to other room types. The décor is the same stylish theme as the other suites.

The Town Houses at the Burjuman Rotana Suites are a substantial size at 324sqm and comprise of an entrance hall, combined lounge/dinning room, fully equipped kitchen, utility room, maids room, three en-suite bedrooms, additional lounge that could be a fourth bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. The feature of the suite is the high quality fixtures and fittings, floor to ceiling windows with views of the Dubai skyline and state of the art electronics. The Suite is decorated in a modern style with dark marble flooring, light coloured walls and trendy fabrics on the sofas and armchairs. An additional feature is the two story high ceiling in the lounge giving a sense of space. For outside dining the suite has a terrace off the lounge.

The Penthouse is located at the top of the building and has four en-suite bedrooms and a guest toilet. It also benefits from a large entrance corridor, a feature lounge/dining room with a very high ceiling giving a real sense of space and a luxury kitchen. The Penthouse is ideal for guests who requite the additional space and those wishing for ultimate luxury. The suite is decorated in a modern style with an abundance of marble, quality fabrics and fittings and state of the art electronics. The four bedrooms are all a good size with the master bedroom being particularly large. For guests wanting to prepare their own meals there is a fully fitted kitchen as well as a utility room and maids quarters.

The Gallery is located next to the entrance to the Burjuman shopping mall. It is open daily from 06.30 to 23.30 with set meal times and outside of those set meal times the restaurant serves beverages and light snacks. There is a buffet available at lunchtimes as well as an a la carte menu whilst in the evening an a la carte menu is available serving a range of international dishes. Guests should note that alcohol is not served in the restaurant.

The BurJuman Rotana Suites have a dedicated conference rooms and facilities located in the tower next to the hotel which is accessible via the third floor. There are seven meeting rooms that can be partitioned into individual sections. There is open daylight with a high ceiling and the latest audiovisual facilities including a range of microphone options, video conference facilities and projectors and a control room with various high technology audio processors. In addition there is an integrated presentation system which allows the principle speaker to control all audio visual equipment from a remote control panel.

The hotel has modern conference facilities with a number of rooms that can be used individually or combined. The facilities are located in a parallel tower and as well as modern rooms with very high ceilings there is a range of modern technology.
