There is a slightly raised bar which stretches along the back of the venue and the remaining floor area has clusters of chairs and low level tables with short partitioning walls, there is no specific disco/dance floor! The Royal Ascot Hotel has a number of energy saving policies in place that include energy saving key card light switches for all the guest rooms and suites. In the night between 03:00 to 05:00 lights in the public areas are dimmed and one of the four lifts has restricted use. Paper, glass, and plastics are separated for the municipalities refuge department collection, laundry bags are bio degradable and not plastic. The hotel is actively looking into introducing hand sensors on taps to reduce the wastage of water and requesting guests to save on chemicals by reducing the amount of towels that are cleaned on a daily basis.
