Cranley Summary
The hotel is located close to Dubai International Airport, Deira and City One shopping centre. The Rihab Rotana is a modern business style city hotel with underground parking. The hotel is officially classified as apartments but it has some hotel facilities with a 24 hour café, rooftop pool and a fully equipped gym. The hotel has two room types; a one bedroom Apartment and a Suite. Despite being close to the airport, the apartments are not under the flight path and there is no noticeable noise.

Location Description
The Hotel is located between Dubai International Airport and Deira City centre; it is also very close to the Deira City Centre shopping mall. The hotel's location near the Al Garhoud Bridge gives it good access to businesses based in Deira as well as the Conference facilities at the World Trade Centre. For guests' leisure, the Creek Golf and Yacht Club and the new Al Badia golf club are less than 5 minutes away.

Layout Description
The hotel facilities are either on the ground and mezzanine floors or on the top floor, with the apartments located on all the floors in-between and some apartments on the top floor. Off the lobby is the Moka Café, business centre and one of the meeting rooms while on the mezzanine level are further meeting rooms. On the top floor is the bodylines health club which leads via a spiral staircase to the rooftop pool terrace.

The lobby is decorated in a modern contemporary design with black and white chequered marble flooring and light coloured woods on the walls, the reception and concierge desks. The two-floor high ceiling also creates a feeling of spaciousness. Within the lobby area is a front desk with two receptionists, a rent a car desk and leading off from the lobby is the 24 hour Moka Café and an open plan business centre.

The apartments are located over 10 floors and are available in two types; the Studio is a one bedroom unit with en-suite bathroom and a small kitchenette whilst the One bedroom Suite has a separate lounge/dinning room, WC and en-suite bathroom with separate shower. The hallways are well appointed and benefit from having had the carpets replaced in the past eighteen months.

The room has a small entrance lobby with the kitchenette to one side which comes with a sink, microwave and fridge. The room itself has two armchairs, a coffee table and a desk/dressing table. The en-suite bathroom has grey tiling and black marble counter with a recessed white sink, bidet and bath with inclusive stand-up shower.

Cranley Comment
The one bedroom suite comes with a separate lounge and WC and has a larger bathroom than the studio. On entering the room there is a small entrance hallway with the kitchenette on one side. The lounge has a two seater sofa arm-chair and wooden coffee table. In one corner of the lounge is a light wood dinning table that seats four people. The lounge has a floor to ceiling window to allow plenty of natural light into the room. Leading from the lounge is the WC which comes with a bidet and houses the washing machine. The bedroom has similar facilities to the studio room but benefits from a larger bathroom that has a separate shower. The bathroom is decorated with grey tiles, black marble counter and white sanitary wear.

Cranley Comment
The Moka café is an intimate café located off the main lobby and has outside views of the street. It is decorated in rich colours with soft chair seating. There is a plasma screen on the wall for those guests wanting to keep up to date with world events. The menu covers most snack options from salads and sandwiches to Thai, Indian and grilled main courses.

Description Jumeirah Beach Park is a public beach open from 8:00 to 23:00. Visitors must pay a small charge to enter the beach area and sun loungers and parasols are available for hire. Visitors to the Jumeirah Beach Park should note that one day per week is designated as 'Ladies Only' day and they should check before visiting which day it is.

The Jumeirah Beach Park is a public beach with a small charge for entry. The beach park has a large beach with lifeguards, sun lounger and parasol hire, toilet facilities and a snack bar for cold drinks and fast food refreshments. There is a grassed area and an area planted with trees, where barbeques are available for public use. There are football goals and beach volleyball facilities on the beach in addition to an adventure type playground to keep younger children entertained.
