Cranley Summary
The Millennium Airport hotel is located on Al Garhoud Road, and is only 2 minutes by taxi from Dubai International Airport. The hotel is a modern design and opened in December 2000 aiming to serve the business and leisure traveller. Its location is very convenient for exploring Dubai's many attractions and shopping facilities. There are three types of room available, Deluxe, Superior and Grand plus one Executive Suite. For dining the Millennium offers three restaurants, these include Da Vinci's, an Italian restaurant and winner of Dubai What's On award for Best Italian Restaurant for the last three years. There is also an English style pub called Biggles which has an Aviation theme. In addition the hotel has a business centre in the lobby, wireless internet in the public areas and for relaxation there is an outdoor swimming pool.

Location Description
The hotel is located two minutes by taxi from Dubai International Airport but being away from the flight path it is not disturbed by the noise of aircraft. Its location near the Al Garhoud bridge gives it easy access to the World Trade Centre and Bur Dubai, although guests should note that there is heavy traffic in the rush hour across the Creek bridges. The hotel is located just a few kilometres from Deira, the old Dubai, with its array of Souks and business facilities.

Layout Description
The Millennium is a modern glass fronted design arranged over five floors. The accommodation is on the upper four floors with the Superior Rooms located on the top floor. On entering the hotel there is an open circular lobby, the reception desks are to the left and the lifts are to the right with the business centre to one side. Further into the lobby a corridor has the Gozo Garden Restaurant on the right and on the left is the gift shop. At the end of this corridor are located the other restaurants and bar, On the right is Biggles Bar, on the left is Da Vinci's Restaurant and straight ahead is Cactus jacks Restaurant. Outside the Gozo Garden Restaurant is a terrace which has steps leading to the swimming pool.

The Millennium Hotel has four standards of accommodation, Deluxe, Superior, Grand Rooms and one Executive Suite. All rooms have the same modern style and decor with large panoramic windows giving views of the airport or gardens. Deluxe and Superior rooms have the same size and furnishings but the Superior Rooms are all on the top floor with improved scenic views. Grand Rooms have a much larger living area with extra seating and table, and the Executive Suite benefits from having a separate bedroom and living room which allows for an additional seating area and an extra television.

The Deluxe Rooms have a light, spacious feel with large panoramic windows. The decor is modern with beige walls and red carpets with dark wood furniture. The rooms come with sofa and coffee table, writing desk and chair and dressing table. Bathrooms have a combined bath and shower with white tiling and white sanitary ware.

The Millennium hotel has three restaurants giving guests a variety of dining options. These include the Gozo Garden, with a Mediterranean feel which is open all day for breakfast lunch and dinner. Cactus Jacks with a Tex-Mex theme which is open for lunch and dinner and Da Vinci's an Italian restaurant and is also open for lunch and dinner. Da Vinci's has also been voted Favourite Italian restaurant in the Dubai What’s On Awards for the last three years.

The Gozo Garden is located in the lobby area opposite the reception desks. The restaurant has a Mediterranean style and is open all day for breakfast lunch and dinner. The Gozo Garden specialises in all you can eat buffets with live cooking stations. As well as the international menu for breakfast and lunch the restaurant has different theme nights during the week which include A Taste of the Far East on Wednesdays, Hawaiian Delights on Thursdays and a Surf & Turf night on Saturday's.

Cactus Jacks is a Tex - Mex restaurant and is located at the end of the lobby corridor and next door to Biggles Bar. Specialising in spicy Tex - Mex food the restaurant is also noted for its Saturday Mexican Brunch with a live Fajitas cooking station. There are also various theme nights during the week including, Margarita Night on Tuesdays, Jack Daniels Night on Fridays and Karaoke Night on Saturdays.

The restaurant has a wide variety of traditional Italian favourites with several Pasta and Pizza dishes on the menu.
