A boutique style hotel situated on the fashionable Al Diyafah Street in Bur Dubai. It is close to Jumeirah beach and a few minutes drive in light traffic to the World Trade Center and Exhibition Hall, making it ideal for the business and leisure traveller. The hotel has a German restaurant and an International buffet-style restaurant with theme nights. The hotel further benefits from having a coffee shop, a lively bar, a business centre and conference/ meeting rooms. The hotel is located on the fashionable Al Diyafah Street in Bur Dubai with its ethnic Arabic shops, fashionable boutiques and restaurants. The hotel is close to Jumeirah Beach, about a 10 minute drive in light traffic from Dubai International Airport and a few minutes from the World Trade Centre, Exhibition Hall, Dubai City Centre and the Dubai Creek.

Layout Description

Guests enter the hotel into the open plan lobby lounge. The reception and guest relations desk as well as the business centre are located to the right, whilst Le Café restaurant is to the left. The Boston Bar and Brauhaus German Restaurant are located on the ground floor. The Bella Vista restaurant is on the 5th floor and the conference and meeting rooms are located on the 1st and 5th floors. The swimming pool, gymnasium and pool bar are on the rooftop.

The marble floor open plan lobby entrance is elegantly furnished with a central Persian rug. There is an elaborate flower arrangement and floor to ceiling windows with ample seating for guests on comfortable sofas with coffee tables. There are two wood panelled check-in desks as well as a separate concierge and guest relations desk. Le Café lobby lounge serves freshly brewed coffees and teas with cakes and pastries.

The Jumeira Rotana Hotel’s rooms and suites are all large enough for extra beds, which make them particularly suitable for families, adults wishing to share accommodation or adults who prefer ample space. Rooms and suites have restricted views but this is compensated for by the extra spacious bedrooms, which are decorated in pastel colours with floor to ceiling drapes and curtains. There is a room refurbishment programme in progress due for completion in September 2006. The descriptions below are pre-redecoration. Guests should note that there will be a supplementary cost for rooms and suites already refurbished.

Deluxe rooms have King or Twin beds with a kitchenette. They are decorated in pastel colours with floor to ceiling drapes and curtains and have a desk/vanity area with an arched mirror. The rooms have good wardrobe and drawer space for storage and are large enough for 2 adults with extra beds for children. The en-suite bathroom has a bathtub with overhead shower, a washbasin and a mirrored vanity area.

Suites have a separate lounge/dining room and kitchenette and have ample wardrobe space and drawers for storage. The lounge has a desk with telephone and TV, whilst the bedroom has a separate open dressing area, sitting area and vanity unit with arched mirror. There is ample space and 2 extra beds can be placed in the lounge or an extra bed can be placed in the bedroom. The Suites are large enough to accommodate families.

The Brauhaus is decorated in the style of a Bavarian Bar with dark wood panelling, a featured bar area in the centre and alcove style seating. Staff are dressed in National Bavarian costume and the restaurant offers a range of German dishes and beers. They have themed evenings when Bavarian cuisine is served as well as cheese evenings featuring fondues and racellette dishes from the mountains of Europe. The restaurant has been awarded the Grumpy Gourmet award for best German restaurant in 2002 and 2003.

Guests enter the Bella Vista restaurant through a wrought iron style gate. It is decorated with stone arches, hand painted fresco scenes and stone balustrades. The restaurant has circular floor to ceiling windows, cane furniture and a central serving area. They offer themed evenings, as well as a Friday brunch where guests can enjoy the buffet with unlimited food and drinks for an inclusive price. There is a nightly program of entertainment in the Bella Vista Restaurant.
