Each restaurant has free standing tables and chairs with a few having additional fixed furniture. Queens Quays bar has a slightly raised area with seating on both levels. Within the Dhow Ka Aangan restaurant the bar is on a slightly raised level and in both the Docklands and The Oriental restaurant a quarter of the tables are on a slightly raised platform. Food is cooked to order and managers are able to advise if dishes are suitable for people who suffer from gluten, lactose, potassium and sodium allergies or advise guests who are on special diets.
Staff Assistance
Staff are trained in first aid and are able to assist guests in some aspects of special care although may not be fully proficient in some areas where additional special care is needed.

Generally all public areas and meeting rooms are accessible for wheelchairs; there is one Deluxe guest room with low level bath which meets the Dubai standards for accessible rooms. The rooftop pool can only be reached by an external full iron staircase. There are no special provisions for the hard of hearing or the partially sighted and guest room numbers are not raised. Staff are friendly and will provide some assistance if required.

Energy Saving
Cranley Comment
A number of environmental practices are in place at the Dhow Palace Hotel which includes recycling of paper, glass, plastics and cooking oils. Energy saving light switches are in place and lights in public areas are turned down in the small hours of the morning. Laundry is outsourced at reduced rates to the hotel which helps to reduce both energy and water consumption within the hotel.
