Coral Boutique Villas are located close to Sheikh Zayed Road in Al Barsha, Dubai. The Mall of the Emirates and Ski Dubai are within a few minutes walk and the fast developing Dubai Internet City and Dubai Media City are both just a short drive away. The thirty luxury duplex villas are all individually furnished and decorated to a high standard. The villas benefit from having both self-catering and hotel facilities, with an on-site restaurant operating 24 hours a day. Each villa has four bedrooms, all with ensuite bathrooms, state-of-the-art kitchens, spacious lounge/dining rooms, stylish accessories and designer fittings throughout. The villas are built in landscaped gardens around the main central building, which houses the Reception area, restaurant, Business Centre, meeting room and gym. The outdoor swimming pool is located in the centre of the complex. A unique “Revolving Chef” concept brings gourmet dining to guests’ villas, where a chef will cook a meal in the villa kitchen. As well as the Business Centre and meeting room, all villas offer both broadband and WiFi connectivity. The well appointed gym has the latest up-to-date equipment, whilst the Murjan Coral Signature Spa, located in the Coral Boutique Hotel Apartments just 5 minutes away, offers a range of spa packages at discounted rates. Each villa is available for families or groups of up to eight people, with the option of each of the four bedrooms in the villa being let separately for individuals sharing. The villas are also available for long term letting. Guests should note that Coral Boutique Villas have a no alcohol policy.

By road they are close to the fast developing business and leisure districts, including Dubai Internet City and Dubai Media City. The nearest beach is approximately 5 kilometres away and Dubai International airport is 31 kilometres by road.

Layout Description

Coral Boutique Villas is a complex of 30 four bedroom luxury villas, which overlook landscaped gardens. The villas are built around the edge of the complex, with the central area containing the swimming pool, gym and children's play area, alongside the central building, which houses the Reception, the Business Centre, meeting room and Rumours Café. There is a gated entrance to the complex and guests pass the security office on the way in.

The Reception is located in the building in the central courtyard and gardens. Entering the building through large double wooden doors, the reception lobby area is straight ahead. The marble reception desk is located to the right and beyond is a small lounge seating area overlooking the gardens and pool. Alongside is the Business Centre, with two PCs. Immediately before the reception lobby is Rumours Café, which shares the same building. Just beyond the lobby lounge is a separate building which houses the gym.

There is a small shop located in the lobby opposite the reception desk, but for major purchases, guests will find that Coral Boutique Villas are conveniently situated within walking distance of the Mall of the Emirates, one of the largest shopping malls in the world. There are also supermarkets and banks within a five minute walk of the villas.

The 30 fully furnished villas are built around the edge of the complex, with all villas having a front door and private covered parking for two cars. The dining room and lounge of each villa overlooks the gardens, with all properties having their own terrace and many of them directly surrounding the swimming pool. There are patio doors to the lounge and the dining room, allowing all residents very easy access to the rest of the complex. On walking through the front door, there is a large hallway with stairs leading up to the 1st floor landing. The hallway leads through to a large open plan fully equipped state-of-the-art kitchen and very spacious dining and lounge areas, with enough room to entertain a large number of people. The rooms are bright and airy and have floor-to-ceiling windows. The villas are decorated in light pastel tones, enhanced with colourful soft furnishings and all have light coloured marble floors with colourful scatter rugs throughout. The stairs lead up to a lounge landing area furnished with sofas, chairs and coffee table and lead off to four bedrooms each with an ensuite bathroom. The large master bedroom has a king size bed, a desk, a plasma television and an extra large bathroom with separate walk-in shower and bath. The further three bedrooms are slightly smaller in size. One has a king size bed; one a queen size bed and the remaining one has twin beds. The other three ensuite bathrooms all have a shower over the bath. Each villa is available for families or groups of up to eight people sharing. The bedrooms in each villa are also let out to individuals, especially for corporate bookings. All of them are secure with their own locks.

Rumours Café is located in the central garden building next to the Reception. The bright airy modern café has floor-to-ceiling windows looking out over the garden and swimming pool. The cafe is open twenty four hours and food is served both indoors and alfresco. The menu includes a variety of salads and soups, as well as four good value set meals; a Tex Mex Combo, an Oriental Combo, Mediterranean and Asian Fusion. There are also regular favourites such as Coral Burger, Club Sandwich and Baked Hammour. The menu also has desserts and fresh fruit cocktails. Guests should note that alcohol is not served anywhere on the complex.

Coral Boutique Villas currently have one small meeting room permanently available for meetings of up to 14 people. This room is next to Rumours Café and is part of the central block in the complex. Because of the size of the villas, they can also arrange in-villa meetings on request for up to 40 people. A full range of AV equipment can be provided in both cases, as well as full catering services.

Coral Boutique Villas welcome children and the size of the villas make them ideal for large family groups. Cots for babies are available through Reception and there are high chairs in Rumours Café. There is a children's play area in the gardens which is located near the pool and is on grass. This consists of a set of plastic climbing adventure apparatus with a slide, climbing frame and tunnel rings. Whilst there is not a children's pool, the swimming pool has a separate small area within it for children.

Description	Jumeirah Beach Park is a public beach open from 8:00 to 23:00. Visitors must pay a small charge to enter the beach area and sun loungers and parasols are available for hire. Visitors to the Jumeirah Beach Park should note that one day per week is designated as 'Ladies Only' day and they should check before visiting which day it is.

The Jumeirah Beach Park is a public beach with a small charge for entry. The beach park has a large beach with lifeguards, sun lounger and parasol hire, toilet facilities and a snack bar for cold drinks and fast food refreshments. There is a grassed area and an area planted with trees, where barbeques are available for public use. There are football goals and beach volleyball facilities on the beach in addition to an adventure type playground to keep younger children entertained.

The swimming pool is located in the centre of the gardens and is rectangular in shape. Inset at one edge of the pool is the children' section which is 5 metres square. There is a central feature in the pool planted with a date palm. The tiled surrounds lead out to the grassed garden area furnished with wooden sun loungers, umbrellas, easy chairs and sofas all surrounding the pool. There are separate changing facilities with showers, lockers and saunas for men and women located in the gym which is next to the pool area.

The gym is located in a separate building just off the reception area and it offers the latest state-of-the-art equipment in a relaxed environment. With floor to ceiling windows on three sides and a mirrored wall on the fourth side, the gym is very light and bright. It looks out over the landscaped gardens and swimming pool. There are ladies and gents changing rooms each with lockers, showers, sauna and toilets.

Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club

Description

Opened in 1993 and extensively re-modelled in 2005, the course is set next to Dubai Creek, close to the city centre and Dubai International Airport. The championship course was re-designed by Thomas Bjorn and is set in undulating fairways lined with palms, attractive water hazards and shrubbery that give it a tropical and secluded feel despite being close to the city centre. The complex also features a nine hole floodlit par-three course. The course was voted in November 2005 as one of the top 100 world courses to play and hosted the Dubai Desert Classic in 1999 and 2000.

Emirates Golf Club

Description

This was the first grass course in the Gulf region when it opened in 1988. The club features two championship courses; the Majlis and the Wadi. The Majlis was the original course and was designed by Florida based designer Karl Litten. The Wadi opened in 1996 and was re-designed in 2007 by Nick Faldo. Despite a number of new courses, it still ranks as one of the best in Dubai. It has hosted the Dubai Desert Classic fifteen times for the last six years in succession.

Montgomerie Dubai

Description

Covering more than 265 acres of landscaped turf, gardens and lakes, this spectacular golf course provides the player with undulating "links land" style fairways which challenge and intrigue all levels of player. Placement of the drive to the generous fairways remains the cornerstone of any good round. The flat landing area of each fairway can be challenging to find, but a rewarding adventure. With 14 lakes and 81 bunkers, The Montgomerie Dubai, the first and only example of the association between golfing great Colin Montgomerie and Desmond Muirhead, adds a distinctive variety to the golfing landscape of the region.

One of the signature holes is the par 5 fourth, dubbed the Snake hole for its saddleback fairway which doglegs towards the green, with 2 bunkers behind forming the eyes of the snake. Further on, the par 5 ninth, with water down the left, is a tough finish to the opening half. The par 3 thirteenth, a hole designed in the shape of the UAE, boasts a 360 degree teeing area around an island fairway and green, allowing for a completely different golf hole to be played every time. However, it is the par 5 eighteenth that offers a more classic test. At 656 yards it is a monster and, with water protecting the front of the green, it defies even the best player to hit the green in two.

Coral Boutique Villas are not suitable for any guests who may be mobility impaired. There are steps in and out of all the buildings and stairs up to the bedrooms, all of which are situated on the 1st floor in each of the villas.

Cranley Comment

Waste is separated for recycling and there is a battery recycling box in the reception area. The bedrooms have notices requesting guests to switch off all lights and to close doors and windows when the air conditioning is switched on, to save energy. Notices in the bathrooms give guests the opportunity to re-use towels if they wish to save water.
