Layout Description
The Royal Park is a five storey white painted building adorned with stately pillars and is made up of three Grade II listed Georgian town houses carefully restored to their 1840’s splendour. The hotel is a combination of Victorian grandeur and modern comfort and is decorated with original paintings, fine prints, selected Georgian and Victorian antiques throughout the building, hand-embroidered linen fabrics and brass chandeliers which grace the reception areas. Steps lead up to the entrance into the reception area with the Honesty Bar to the left and a lounge and meeting room to the right. Two lifts located just off the reception area and stairs serve all guestroom floors.

On entering the hotel and turning left, guests enter an elegant marble chequered reception area housing the reception desk, a log fireplace, a comfortable sofa, easy chairs and the hotel's Honesty Bar. Immediately past the Honesty Bar are two elevators and a stairway serving all guestroom floors. Turning right at the entrance leads to the Blue Room which is an oak floored drawing room with a log fireplace, comfortable sofas, chairs and coffee table where guests can relax and enjoy champagne and canapes in the evening, culinary delights from the room service menu and drinks from the Honesty Bar. Leading through from the Blue Room is the Green Room which is decorated with an oak floor, a large fireplace, table and chairs and transforms into the hotel's meeting room which can be set up in a boardroom style for ten people.

The Deluxe Four Poster suites have king-size four poster beds with white canopied hanging drapes. Each suite has a separate living area and bedroom decorated in Regency pastel tones and is luxuriously furnished with antique furniture and hand embroidered linens. On entering the room there is a spacious hallway with two cupboards one of which houses the mini bar and safe and a separate bathroom and toilet. The hallway leads into the bedroom which has high ceilings and large sash windows overlooking the front of the hotel making the rooms bright and airy. Both the bedroom and lounge areas are decorated in lively Regency colours with colourful coordinating soft furnishings. Continental breakfast is served between 06:45 to 10:00 and is available in guests' rooms. There is a small courtyard area with two wooden tables and chairs located on the lobby level of the hotel.
