Maze is a Michelin-stared Gordon Ramsay restaurant which is run under the expertise of Executive Chef Jason Atherton. It is located on the mezzanine level, overlooking Grosvenor Square and also has its own separate entrance facing the square. Maze opened in 2005, the décor is contemporary and was designed by David Rockwell with a large rosewood bar, comfortable seating areas with large leather couches and ottomans. The rosewood and beige leather colour scheme runs through to the dining area although guests may eat at the bar counter if they prefer. There is also a separate private dining area for 11 people that directly overlooks the kitchen and the very popular chefs' table for eight which is within the kitchen itself. Guests who dine at the chefs' table enjoy a unique, interactive dining experience. The International menu with French and Asian influences is changed daily, incorporating the best ingredients for each season and includes a tasting menu and several speciality a la carte dishes, many cooked or finished in a charcoal grill, wood oven, or plancha.
