Pepper Street is surrounded by other residential buildings, offices, restaurants, retail outlets and two supermarkets. The apartments are 15 minutes walk from Canary Wharf, one of London’s premier business and financial areas and 3 minutes walk from Crossharbour DLR (Docklands Light Railway). Canary Wharf underground station offers rail links to all London areas, including 30 minutes to London’s West End and the City. London City Airport is easily accessed in 30 minutes by the Docklands Light Railway or 15 minutes by car depending on traffic. These luxury serviced apartments are self catering and are aimed more at the business traveller with a minimum stay of 14 days. Vanet Apartments at 12 and 14 Pepper Street consist of Studio and One Bedroom Executive and Deluxe Apartments. The apartments are modern and contemporary in design and furnished to a high standard. Crossharbour DLR (Docklands Light Railway) station is 3 minutes walk and Canary Wharf underground station, offering rail links to all London areas is a 15 minute walk. City airport is easily accessed by the DLR. Within the immediate vicinity of the apartments are street cafés, restaurants, several supermarkets and retail outlets.

Layout Description
The apartment buildings are situated on Pepper Street surrounded by residential buildings, offices, retail outlets and restaurants. Pepper Street has limited traffic access and many pedestrian areas only. 12 and 14 Pepper Street are part of a row of 3 storey buildings with two apartments on each floor. Access into the building which is on street level is via an electronic swipe disc with doors leading into a small lobby entrance. One lift and a stairway serve all three floors in both buildings.

There is no Concierge desk at Pepper Street, however, guests will be met by a member of Vanet Apartments management on their arrival, day or night, in order to be given keys and a show round of the apartment.

Guests arriving at the apartments will be met by a member of the management company at a time arranged and given keys and a tour of the apartment. The Studio and each of the One Bedroom Executive and Deluxe apartments at 12 and 14 Pepper Street are decorated and furnished in a modern and contemporary style. The apartments are individually furnished and have floor to ceiling conservatory windows with views over the waterside. Each apartment has an open-plan living area with a fitted kitchen, equipped with everything required for self-catering. Linen and towels are provided and the apartments are cleaned once a week. The apartments are located over three floors in both buildings and can be reached by a central lift or stairs.

This apartment is bright and airy and offers a modern spacious living environment featuring an open plan living and bedroom area, a small conservatory, a separate fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom. The Studio Apartment is decorated in pastel and earth tones and features light parquet flooring throughout, except for black granite tile flooring in the bathroom. The open plan living and bedroom area is L shaped and furnished with two sofas, a glass coffee table, King size bed with a suede fabric fitted headboard, two bedside cabinets, a unit housing an audio system and a 46" wall mounted flat panel widescreen TV. At the far end of the apartment, one step leads up to a small furnished conservatory with floor to ceiling windows looking out over the waterside area of Millwall Inner Dock. The conservatory is furnished with a glass circular dining table and four chairs. A fully equipped kitchen is located off the entrance area and offers plenty of cupboard space and everything needed for self catering. The shower room has white and black tiled walls, a walk-in shower, a single sink unit with mirror over and a toilet. There are no shower room amenities supplied.

Each apartment is individually furnished and decorated in pastel and earth tones. There is light wooden parquet flooring throughout, except for black tile granite flooring in the bathroom. All the apartments have a small entrance hallway with doors leading off to each section of the apartment. The open plan living area is furnished with a sofa and chairs, glass coffee and occasional tables, a unit housing an audio system and a 46” wall mounted flat panel widescreen TV. From the lounge a step up leads into a furnished conservatory which runs along the entire length of the lounge and kitchen. These apartments are similar in design and style to the Executive One Bedroom Apartments but offer more space. The apartments are bright and airy and offer a modern spacious living environment featuring a hallway, an open plan living, dining and kitchen area, a conservatory, bedroom with a balcony and a bathroom. Each apartment is individually furnished and decorated in pastel and earth tones. There is light wooden parquet flooring throughout, except for black granite tiled flooring in the bathroom. All the units have an entrance hallway with doors leading off to each section of the apartment. The living area is furnished with an oversized L shape sofa, glass coffee and occasional tables, glass circular dining table and four chairs, a unit housing an audio system and a 46” wall mounted flat panel widescreen TV. From the dining area, a step leads up into a furnished conservatory which runs along the entire length of the living area. Guests wishing to purchase groceries can do so at a 24 hour supermarket located two minutes away at Crossharbour Station, or at another supermarket in New Harbour Road, also two minutes walk away. Guests wishing to dine out have a choice of restaurants, including Spanish, Lebanese and Italian, street cafés, takeaway snack bars and pubs within Pepper Street itself. Canary Wharf is a 15 minute walk from the apartments and offers a vast choice of restaurants and bars, including Jamie Oliver's Italian restaurant "Jamie", "The Narrow", which is a Gordon Ramsay restaurant, Gaucho Grill and many pubs and cafés. The O2 at Greenwich, which has many restaurants and bars under one roof, is just one stop away from Canary Wharf on the underground.

From Canary Wharf underground station, the O2 at Greenwich is just one stop and offers a large concert venue, a smaller concert hall, cinema and many restaurants and bars all under one roof. The West End offers a huge choice of theatres, bars, clubs and dining venues and is easily reached by underground in 30 minutes from Canary Wharf Station.

Brocket Hall Golf Club is part of the splendid 543 acre Brocket Hall Estate and was designed from the first to offer some of the best golf in the United Kingdom. The two Championship standard courses, the Melbourne and the Palmerston, are each named after the 19th Century Prime Ministers to whom Brocket Hall was home. Both courses are set within the contours of the Estate and provide a challenging and varied game for golfers of all abilities.

The Par 72 Melbourne Course designed by Peter Allis is set in the picturesque parkland surrounding the Hall and provides a rigorous and challenging test of golf. In contrast, the par 73 Palmerston Course designed by Donald Steel is over 7,000 yards from the back tees. Description
The Grove golf course in Hertfordshire, is widely regarded as one of the finest new golf courses in Europe and recently hosted the World Golf Championships, American Express Championship 2007. 'The Grove is a 7,152 yard par 72 championship golf course, located just outside London, designed by the distinguished American architect Kyle Philips and is playable all year round. Built to USGA specification, with the latest A4 creeping bent grass for firm, fast putting surfaces. Following the slopes, ridges and mounds of the natural landscape the course also includes a continuous hidden cart path around all 18 holes, full length driving range, practice area and putting green. Visitors should note that metal spikes are not allowed.

The apartments are on one level, except for the conservatory which has a step up. The open plan living areas in the larger apartments are reasonably spacious, but would be difficult because of furniture layout for wheelchair maneouvrability. Wheelchair access would not be possible in the bedrooms or the bathrooms.

Vanet Apartments Pepper Street are not really suitable for mobility impaired guests. Although the entrance into the apartments is on street level and there are no steps, assistance would be required for opening the main entrance door. Access to the apartments is via a lift, but the entrance passage leading to the apartment is very narrow. Wheelchair manoeuvrability would be extremely difficult, even in the larger apartments in both the living and bedroom area because of furniture layout. The bathrooms are too small to take a wheelchair.
