The Radisson Edwardian Kenilworth Hotel is situated on the corner of Great Russell Street and Bloomsbury Street on the edge of London’s city district just seconds from the British Museum and the University Quarter. Within a short stroll you will find many of London’s top theatres, Tottenham Court Road and Oxford Street. Tthe nearest underground station is Tottenham Court Road which is serviced by the Central Line and Northern Line. The hotel is found in a traditional London building that was converted into a hotel approximately 60 years ago. The relaxing Lobby and public areas are complimented by tones of golds and deep reds, original Asian art and black and white prints of London. There are a range of 180 Guest rooms from Standard Singles to Suites. 'Creation', the hotels restaurant and bar serves a Full Buffet and A La Carte breakfast as well as A La Carte lunch and dinner which includes Grimsby Cod, Aylesbury Duck and Irish Fillets all served from the grill. Within the hotel there is a small gym with a unisex steam room that is available to guests 24/7. The hotel has 10 conference and event spaces that are individual in décor and offer natural light.

The Radisson Edwardian Kenilworth Hotel is found on the corner of Great Russell Street and Bloomsbury Street, ideally located on the edge of London’s city district, just a few moments from the British Museum, the southern end of Tottenham Court Road, Shaftsbury Avenue home to many of London’s theatres and Oxford Street. In the surrounding streets of the hotel you will find a number of map and book shops with collectables, some Asian restaurants, traditional British pubs and sandwich bars. Charlotte Street which is close by has a range of restaurants offering various cuisine. The nearest underground station is Tottenham Court Road which is serviced by the Central and Northern lines, parking is available in Bloomsbury Way.

Layout Description
The Radisson Edwardian Kenilworth Hotel is approached by a one way street - Russell Street, the entrance to the hotel leads out to the pedestrian pavement. As you enter the hotel you will find the concierge desk directly in front of you with the Creation Restaurant and Bar leading off to the left of the lobby. To the right there are a number of comfortable seating arrangements for guests to relax in. The reception has three guest stations and is situated at the far end of the lobby. The gym and lower ground floor conference rooms are found down a flight of stairs to the right of the main guest elevator. The Business Centre, ground floor meeting and conference rooms and an additional guest elevator are found along a corridor adjacent to the reception.

The Lobby area is decorated in tones of gold and deep reds with a marble floor. The large windows that overlook Russell Street and Bloomsbury Street are draped in heavy fabrics which add to the calm of the overall effect. There are a number of seating areas within the lobby and additional deep settees within the Creation Restaurant and Bar area which leads off to the left of the lobby. Both the lobby area and Creation have a number of large original Asian art pieces which adds to the overall flowing décor theme.

The Guest rooms at the Radisson Edwardian Kenilworth Hotel are all decorated in a similar style with large solid wood, work stations, incorporating a 'bank' of both standard British and US 110V plug sockets, tea and coffee making facilities and a television. White linen with duvets, throws and matching bolster cushions add to unbroken style of the rooms. The bathrooms have grey marble tiles and despite being small they are functional. Suites are decorated in a more contemporary style and have i-pod docking stations, Bose sound system, a large settee, coffee table and additional easy chair, the bathrooms have a bath with separate shower cubical. Guest rooms are reached by two separate corridors on each level, rooms with even numbers are on the outside of the building. WI-FI is complimentary in all guest rooms.

Creation, is the only dining option within the hotel. It is a casual, comfortable dining area located to the left of the lobby with a separate entrance to the street that has one step and a ramp. The décor is uncluttered with a lounge area, bar and two separate dining areas with either deep bench seats or separate round tables and chairs, there are a few Asian influenced statues and some original artworks strategically placed around the room. At the far end of the room there is a buffet bar where breakfast is served. The A La Carte lunch time and evening menu features British comfort food with a modern influence without compromising on portions. Afternoon tea is served between 14:30 to 17:00.

Creation Bar is located within the same environment as its sister restaurant on the lobby level with an additional discreet street entrance in one corner. The bar area is mirrored and serves cocktails, draft beers and wines. Guests may either sit at one of the bar stools or in the lounge area that has a number of formatted deep settees and coffee tables that overlook the restaurant to one side and the street to the other. There are 10 Conference and event space available at the Radisson Edwardian Kenilworth Hotel that are located on either the ground floor or lower ground floor level. The largest event space can accommodate up to 150 people for a Reception. Most of the rooms are of an irregular shape and with character, the largest rooms which have a small private bar/reception area have wood panelling and large mirrors. Additional AV equipment can be hired through the Events Department. The hotel does not hold a Civil Wedding Licence.

There are no special facilities for children at the Radisson Edwardian Kenilworth Hotel but children are very welcome. Creation Restaurant has high chairs and smaller portions available on request, the bar menu serves a selection of sandwiches, burgers and omelettes. Baby sitting should be booked through the Concierge 24 hours in advance, cots and roll out beds are available through Housekeeping, standard rooms will not accommodate a roll out bed.

The Gym at the Radisson Edwardian Kenilworth is in the basement level of the hotel and is reached by lift or stairs, guests are able to access it 24/7 with their key card. It is compact in size but functional. Towels and fresh fruit are provided and the two interconnection mirrored equipment rooms have a water cooler and televisions. There is a Unisex changing room, shower and steam room and complimentary toiletries.

Description
Brocket Hall Golf Club is part of the splendid 543 acre Brocket Hall Estate and was designed from the first to offer some of the best golf in the United Kingdom. The two Championship standard courses, the Melbourne and the Palmerston, are each named after the 19th Century Prime Ministers to whom Brocket Hall was home. Both courses are set within the contours of the Estate and provide a challenging and varied game for golfers of all abilities.

The Par 72 Melbourne Course designed by Peter Allis is set in the picturesque parkland surrounding the Hall and provides a rigorous and challenging test of golf. In contrast, the par 73 Palmerston Course designed by Donald Steel is over 7,000 yards from the back tees. Donald has sculptured many beautiful holes playing through the ancient woodlands with some very undulating fairways.

Description
As well as being a challenging and demanding course you will find it hard not to be stirred by the exquisite views and landscapes of the Club's championship course known as Stoke Poges. The club's true 27 hole course is made up of the three nine hole courses Colt, Alison and Jackson. The course was designed by Harry Shapland Colt who is arguably the greatest golf course architect in history. He and his partners have certainly had more influence on the game around the world than any other firm of architects. In l908 he was commissioned to create his first unassisted design at Stoke Poges.

Description
The Grove golf course in Hertfordshire, is widely regarded as one of the finest new golf courses in Europe and recently hosted the World Golf Championships, American Express Championship 2007. 'The Grove is a 7,152 yard par 72 championship golf course, located just outside London, designed by the distinguished American architect Kyle Philips and is playable all year round. Built to USGA specification, with the latest A4 creeping bent grass for firm, fast putting surfaces. Following the slopes, ridges and mounds of the natural landscape the course also includes a continuous hidden cart path around all 18 holes, full length driving range, practice area and putting green. Visitors should note that metal spikes are not allowed.

The main entrance to the hotel is up one shallow step from the pavement level, the separate entrance to the restaurant has a permanent ramp and allows access through the restaurant and bar area to the lobby. Access to the larger conference rooms is down 4 stairs, a temporary slope may be installed to assist guests in wheelchairs.
Rooms & Bathrooms
There are 2 DDA Deluxe King guest rooms with views over Great Russell Street. Both of these guest rooms are located opposite the lift and stairs and have slightly indented room numbers, they have wide opening doors opening into a small lobby area with low level light switches. To the left is the bedroom that has a slightly larger than single closet close to the bed and a work station and mini bar at the foot of the bed with space to manoeuvre most wheelchairs. The en-suite shower room has a roll in shower with hand held shower, low level basin and shower seat. There is no emergency pull cord in the bathroom. Shake Awake pillows are available at the reception.
Restaurants & Catering
The main entrance to the hotel is up one step, there is a separate entrance from the street directly into Creation Restaurant that has a small step and permanent ramp. Once inside the restaurant guests can navigate their way to the lobby area and guest rooms. The restaurant has menus that are written in brail and also offers vegetarian and gluten free options.
Recreation Facilities
The gym at the Radisson Edwardian Kenilworth Hotel is located on the lower ground level which can be reached by lift or stairs. The door to the gym is of standard size and access to and within the unisex shower and steam room is narrow.
Visual & Hearing Aids
The Reception desk at the far end of the lobby has an induction loop system in place to assist hard of hearing guests.
To assist visually impaired guests the buttons in the lifts are in brail and the guest room numbers are slightly indented. The restaurant has menus that are written in brail.
Staff Assistance
The Radisson Edwardian Hotel has a wheelchair for use by guests when necessary. Staff are trained to administer basic first aid and are on hand to give some assistance were necessary.

There is one small step at the entrance of the Radisson Edwardian Kenilworth Hotel and a separate entrance to the restaurant that has a permanent ramp that allows access through to the lobby area. A guest disabled lavatory is found to the left of the reception desk. There is an induction loop system in place at the reception desk for the hard of hearing and the hotel can provide a wheelchair if necessary, Brail Menus and Shake Awake pillows. The two DDA rooms are located next to the lifts and stairs and have en-suite roll in shower rooms. The smaller conference rooms are accessible with the larger one having 4 steps to their entrance, the hotel has a temporary ramp for wheelchair users who wish to use this facility. Assistance dogs are welcome.

Although not many environmental policies are in place The Radisson Edwardian Kenilworth Hotel has a Working Party that is aiming to improve standards. Currently the hotel uses energy saving light bulbs and encourages guests to think before they request towels to be laundered. Guest toiletries are in large bottles to help reduce waste.
