55 Coral Apartments is located close to the ExCel Exhibition Centre on the 14th floor of a building that overlooks the Royal Victoria Dock. It is just a few minutes away from the financial district of Canary Wharf and within 10 minutes drive of London City airport. The West End of London is easily accessible from the nearby DLR station and The O2 at Greenwich is just across the River Thames. This very modern luxury apartment has stunning views across the river and a design which is all steel and glass. The living area, which comprises the lounge, diner and kitchen, has floor to ceiling windows on two sides and a small balcony that overlooks the Royal Victoria Dock. It is furnished in a modern contemporary style, with designer furniture throughout. It has two double bedrooms, one of which is ensuite, as well as a separate bathroom. The apartment block has its own secure underground parking, a 24 hour concierge service and a fully equipped gym for residents. There is also a business suite offering meeting facilities on site.

55 Coral Apartments is on the 14th floor of a building which is located just a few minutes walk from the ExCel Exhibition Centre. The building is immediately adjacent to the Royal Victoria Dock and the apartment has a superb view towards The O2 at Greenwich and Canary Wharf beyond. Coral Apartments is one of a number of apartment buildings which are located close together in a largely residential area. Near neighbours include three large hotels. There are just a few shops within easy walking distance, including a convenience store and dry cleaners, but there are several restaurants within 5 minutes walk, including an award winning Caribbean restaurant adjacent to the apartment building. The shopping centres at Canary Wharf and Beckton are just a few minutes drive or can easily be reached on the Docklands Light Railway, whilst London City Airport is just 3 kilometres away.

Layout Description
The apartment building is situated just off Western Gateway, the main road to the ExCel Exhibition Centre. From the main road, Coral Apartments are reached by a flight of steps, although there is also access at ground level, at the rear of the apartments, on a pedestrianised walkway which overlooks Royal Victoria Dock. Coral Apartments is an 18 storey building and 'Number 55' is on the 14th floor. There is a small lobby entrance, which houses the residents mailboxes and a notice board. Two lifts in the lobby area serve all of the floors, including the basement level, from which there is access to the secure underground car park. The Concierge's office is outside the building approximately 30 metres to the right, whilst the gym facilities and meeting room are also a very short distance away from the apartment building, at the level of the rear entrance/exit.

Parking There is one allocated parking space for the apartment in a secure underground car park beneath the apartment building. The car park is accessed using an electronic key. For visitors to the apartment, there is plenty of parking available in the public multi-storey car parks that are just 100 metres away.

The Concierge office is located just a short walk from the Coral Apartments building, in the middle of the pedestrianised square which serves other apartment buildings in the same complex. The office is open 24 hours a day to assist residents with their enquiries.

There are no shops or other amenities in the Coral Apartments building, but there is a small convenience store selling every day essential items and a dry cleaner's, both within a couple of minutes walk. For all other purchases, guests would need to visit Canary Wharf, which is just 10 minutes drive away, or 2 stops on the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) in one direction. In the opposite direction, Beckton is seven stops on the DLR and both of these centres provide a wealth of shopping opportunities.

The luxury apartment is located on 14th floor of the Coral Apartments building and with floor to ceiling windows on two sides, has wonderful views of Royal Victoria Dock and the iconic O2 just across the River Thames. The open plan living area has a lounge, kitchen and dining area, which opens on to a small balcony overlooking the dock. The dark grey tiled floor complements the grey fitted kitten and contrasts well with the white leather sofa and white wooden dining table to present a clean crisp living environment. The state of the art flat screen TV is fixed to a pillar on a swivel system and can be seen from anywhere in the living area. There is a separate CD player with a selection of CDs. The fully fitted designer kitchen is equipped with everything that one would need. There are two bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other with a double bed and ensuite, both of which overlook Royal Victoria Dock. The ensuite has a shower, whilst the main bathroom is fitted with a bath and shower attachment. There is a small amount of storage space in the apartment.

The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, but for guests who wish to eat out, there are a number of restaurants within a few minutes walk. There is an award winning Caribbean restaurant at the bottom of the steps leading up to the entrance of the apartments. This restaurant overlooks the Royal Victoria Dock and has some outside seating. Within five minutes walk in the direction of the ExCel Exhibition Centre, there are restaurants specialising in Chinese, Japanese, Italian and British cuisine, all occupying the refurbished tobacco warehouses around Royal Victoria Dock. Canary Wharf, with its vast selection of restaurants is only a few stops away on the Docklands Light Railway or 10 minutes by road. The O2 at Greenwich, which has a dozen or more restaurants under one roof, is also only a short drive or taxi ride away.

Bar Comments  
There is no bar in the Coral Apartments building but the nearby restaurants referred to in the Restaurants section, all have bar facilities. For a more extensive choice, Canary Wharf is only a few stops on the Docklands Light Railway, whilst the O2 at Greenwich is a short drive through the Blackwall Tunnel.

The Business Suite is located next door to the gym and is connected by an internal door which allows users of the Business Suite to access the toilet facilities of the gym. It is available on a first come basis to residents of the apartment blocks that form the complex, of which Coral Apartments is a part. Bookings are made via the Concierge office. It is equipped with a boardroom style desk and a lounge seating area and also has a number of other chairs. It would be most suitable for a board meeting or a cocktail party.

Coral Apartments are part of a large residential complex, where most of the occupiers will be adults, because of the proximity of ExCel and the business district at Canary Wharf. However, there is a Concierge office on site, which will assist with any guest requirements, including advice on children's facilities. There is a day nursery for young children just a few minutes walk away towards the ExCel Centre.

Coral Apartments are located just 10 minutes drive away from the O2 at Greenwich, where the entertainment facilities include a huge concert venue, as well as a smaller concert hall, a cinema complex and more than a dozen restaurants and bars. Canary Wharf, with its selection of bars, clubs and restaurants is also only 10 to 15 minutes away by road. The West End of London, with its extensive choice of theatres, clubs and dining options, is easily reached by public transport or by road in 20 to 30 minutes.

The gym is located at the level of the Royal Victoria Dock and is easily reached from the rear entrance of the Coral Apartments. The facility is available to residents of all the apartment blocks that form the complex and access to the gym is with an electronic key. The gym is decorated with a blue carpet and has pale coloured walls. One wall consists entirely of floor to ceiling windows, which gives users a good view of the dock. There is a reasonable range of gym equipment and other facilities include changing rooms and saunas.

Description
Brocket Hall Golf Club is part of the splendid 543 acre Brocket Hall Estate and was designed from the first to offer some of the best golf in the United Kingdom. The two Championship standard courses, the Melbourne and the Palmerston, are each named after the 19th Century Prime Ministers to whom Brocket Hall was home. Both courses are set within the contours of the Estate and provide a challenging and varied game for golfers of all abilities.

The Par 72 Melbourne Course designed by Peter Allis is set in the picturesque parkland surrounding the Hall and provides a rigorous and challenging test of golf. In contrast, the par 73 Palmerston Course designed by Donald Steel is over 7,000 yards from the back tees. Donald has sculptured many beautiful holes playing through the ancient woodlands with some very undulating fairways.

  The Grove
Description
The Grove golf course in Hertfordshire, is widely regarded as one of the finest new golf courses in Europe and recently hosted the World Golf Championships, American Express Championship 2007. 'The Grove is a 7,152 yard par 72 championship golf course, located just outside London, designed by the distinguished American architect Kyle Philips and is playable all year round. Built to USGA specification, with the latest A4 creeping bent grass for firm, fast putting surfaces. Following the slopes, ridges and mounds of the natural landscape the course also includes a continuous hidden cart path around all 18 holes, full length driving range, practice area and putting green. Visitors should note that metal spikes are not allowed.

There is no spa facility at the apartments but massages and a small range of other treatments, such as manicures, pedicures, waxing and facials are available at a charge as part of the Quad Club Health and Fitness at the Crowne Plaza Hotel opposite.

Although the front entrance to the apartment building is situated at the top of a number of steps that would be inaccessible to a mobility impaired person, there is a separate access at street level at the rear of the building, where lifts are available. The underground car park beneath the apartments, also has a lift available at the same level as the car park itself.
