Cranley Summary
The Olympic Lagoon Resort is a seasonal hotel and only open during the summer months. The hotel is located just outside Aiya Napa on the south-eastern coast of Cyprus. The resort is set in landscaped gardens and is several hundred metres from the sandy beach of Macronissos. Aiya Napa village is a five minute car journey from the resort and has a fishing harbour, shops, cafes, restaurants, bars and numerous sandy white beaches offering a host of water sports activities. Larnaca International Airport is 55 kilometres from the resort with a car journey time of approximately 30 minutes. The Olympic Lagoon Resort comprises of a Grecian style low-rise building which is built over four floors and has further accommodation in a separate wing and bungalows all surrounding the landscaped gardens and the hotel's numerous swimming pools. The hotel has several restaurants and bars with alfresco dining available on the extensive terrace areas. Other facilities include an Internet room, conference meeting rooms, a health club and spa, an indoor swimming pool, a gift shop, hairdressing salon, children’s playground, children’s club, games room and tennis courts.

Location Description
The Olympic Lagoon Resort is located just outside Aiya Napa on the south-eastern coast of Cyprus. The resort is set in landscaped gardens and is several hundred metres from the sandy beach of Macronissos. The Aiya Napa area has numerous sandy white beaches such as Nissi Beach, Sandy Beach and Ayia Napa's main beach and new fishing harbour. A wide variety of water sports are available and include water skiing, windsurfing, speedboats, para sailing, scuba diving and more. Immediately outside the resort are a number of restaurants, cafes, a bank and supermarket. Aiya Napa village is a five minute car journey from the resort and has a fishing harbour, shops, cafes, restaurants, bars and historical sites such as the 16th century monastery in the centre of the village. Larnaca International Airport is 55 kilometres from the resort with a car journey time of approximately 30 minutes.

Layout Description
The Olympic Lagoon Resort is a Grecian style low-rise building which is built over four floors and set in landscaped gardens. The front entrance of the hotel leads directly into the main lobby area housing the reception desk, lobby lounge with doors leading out to an expansive terrace area with steps down to the landscaped gardens, further guest accommodation and the hotel’s outdoor facilities. Jupiter Restaurant, Semeli Cafeteria, Bacchus Bar and one of the meeting rooms are also located off the main lobby area. There are two elevators just past the reception desk leading to all floors, with guestrooms located on levels one and two, and a further meeting room, hairdresser, souvenir shop, health centre, Internet cafe and games room all located on the lower lobby level. Doors lead out from the lower lobby level to the landscaped gardens, further guestroom accommodation, the Olympic Pool Bar and Restaurant and the hotel’s outdoor facilities.

The front entrance of the hotel leads directly into the main lobby area housing the reception desk and lobby lounge. The lobby lounge has marble floors, is decorated in pastel tones and furnished with tables, chairs and comfortable sofas with soft furnishings in dark and light coral tones. There are floor-to-ceiling windows along one side and two doors leading out to an expansive terrace, furnished with casual bamboo furniture, which looks out over the landscaped gardens and swimming pools. Leading off from the lobby lounge are Bacchus Bar, Semeli Coffee Shop, Jupiter Restaurant, one of the meeting rooms and the two elevators serving all floors.

The Olympic Lagoon Resort has a unisex hairdressing salon and a gift shop located on the lower lobby level of the hotel.

Louisa Hairdressing Salon is located on the lower ground level next to the Internet room and is open from 10:00 to 18:00 Monday to Saturday. The salon offers a range of hair treatments including cutting, styling and colour treatments for both men and women. It is a small salon with one hairdresser available. The Olympic Gift shop is located on the lower ground floor next to the Internet room and is open from 08:30 to 18:00 Monday to Sunday. It is a small shop and sells a range of locally made gift items, sun care products, swimwear for adults and children, sunglasses, children’s soft toys and games, books, magazines, local maps, local and foreign newspapers, cigarettes, sweets, crisps and personal hygiene products. Just outside the resort's grounds, walking towards the beach, is a hypermarket selling food, beverages, beers, wines, spirits, limited clothing items, gifts and more. There is a bank next to the supermarket and a little further on are a variety of restaurants and bars.

The Olympic Lagoon Resort has a variety of room types to suite most guest's requirements. The resort is family orientated with many guestrooms ideal for family sharing. Guestrooms are spread over the complex, some in the main building and some in a separate extension plus a number of bungalows in the grounds. All guestrooms are spacious, well appointed and have floor-to-ceiling sliding balcony or terrace doors, making the rooms bright and airy. Each balcony or terrace is furnished and has garden and pool, inland, sea or side sea views. The guestroom buildings surround the central pool area and landscaped gardens.

Standard rooms are located in the main building and have a choice of twin or double beds. The rooms are spacious, carpeted and decorated in pastel shades with soft furnishings in blue and gold tones and mahogany furniture and fittings. On entering the rooms there is a small hallway with a closet area and bathroom off to the side. Each room has a dressing table, coffee table, two armchairs and a unit with a television. There are floor-to-ceiling sliding doors leading out to a furnished balcony with a table and two chairs. An extra bed can be put in the room to enable a child to share the room with parents. The bathrooms all have a shower over the bath.

The Junior Suites are located in the extension and have an open plan bedroom and sitting area divided by a sliding door for added privacy between the two areas. Junior Suites are much larger than the Standard and Standard Family rooms and offer twin or double beds. The rooms are spacious, carpeted and decorated in pastel tones with colour coordinating soft furnishings and mahogany furniture and fittings. The entrance hallway has a closet and bathroom off to the side and leads into the bedroom area which houses a television on a cabinet. The bedroom leads into the lounge which has a coffee table with two armchairs and two three-seater sofas which convert into two single beds. Sliding balcony doors lead out to either a private garden terrace or balcony depending on the location of the suite. An additional single bed is available in the suite if required. All the bathrooms have a shower over the bath.

The two Executive One-Bedroom Suites are located on the first and second floor of the main building and offer spacious accommodation with a separate bedroom and living/dining room. The rooms are decorated in pastel shades and have colour coordinating soft furnishings. There is a door from the entrance hallway leading into the bedroom and bathroom areas. The bedrooms have a closet area, a king-size bed, a table and easy chair and dressing table. Sliding balcony doors lead out to a balcony with a table and chairs. The separate spacious living area has a dining table with four chairs, two armchairs, a three seater sofa which converts into a double bed and a further balcony with table and chairs. The suite's bathroom is spacious and has a shower over the bath plus the added benefit of a bidet. Additional beds are available in the suite if required.

Olympic Lagoon Resort has three restaurants offering formal and informal dining with alfresco dining options. The Jupiter Restaurant is the hotel's formal dining restaurant and is located on the ground floor of the main building. Located next door to Jupiter Restaurant is Semeli Coffee Shop offering breakfast and all day light dining options. Between the freeform and lagoon pool in the hotel's landscaped gardens is the Olympic Lagoon Pool Bar and Restaurant serving light meals, salads, snacks and hot and cold beverages during the day and hosts themed buffet evenings several nights of the week.

Jupiter Restaurant is located on the lobby level of the resort's main building and is open for dinner only. It is the Olympic Lagoon Resort's fine dining restaurant and is elegantly decorated in pastel tones and has floor-to-ceiling windows on two sides. Doors lead out to a large terrace area which runs along the total length of Jupiter Restaurant and follows through to Semeli Coffee Shop terrace next door. The restaurant has both a set menu and an a la carte menu, offering a wide choice of international and local dishes. There is a dance floor and on certain evenings a live band play a selection of modern dance music.

The Olympic Lagoon Pool Bar and Restaurant is located between the freeform and lagoon pool in the resort's landscaped gardens. The open air bar and restaurant is open during the day for alfresco dining serving light meals, snacks, salads, ice cream and all kinds of drinks, both in the bar and restaurant and the pool surrounds too. During the evenings the restaurant plays host to special themed buffet nights with live entertainment and include Chinese, French, Italian, Cyprus, Greek, Mexican, barbeque, carvery and gala buffets. The resort's in-house Animation Team provide entertainment during some evenings including cabaret shows, west end shows, karaoke and discos all performed on the restaurant's stage area.
