The hotel is a five minute drive, approximately two kilometres, from the International Conference Centre and Nicosia’s main shopping and entertainment areas. Other places of interest such as the Cyprus Archaeological Museum, the Old City and Leventis Municipal Museum are located two kilometres away with an approximate driving time of five minutes. The island's road network gives easy access to all areas of Cyprus. Larnaca International Airport is located forty five kilometres away with a driving time of approximately thirty five minutes. The hotel has a wide range of superior accommodation with 298 guestrooms and suites including an executive wing with executive club lounge facilities. The rooms are spacious, well appointed and feature modern up-to-date facilities and have wired Internet access. The hotel features two restaurants, one of which is a fine dining restaurant, a bar, extensive meeting and conference facilities, an outdoor and indoor swimming pool, tennis courts and a health club with a gym and spa facilities. Larnaca International Airport is 45 kilometres away with a driving time of approximately 35 minutes. Paphos International Airport is 135 kilometres away with a driving time of approximately one and a half hours.

Layout Description

The Hilton Cyprus is a city centre corporate hotel standing seven storeys high with views over Nicosia City. The hotel’s ground floor lobby area houses the reception desk, a spacious lobby lounge seating area, conference rooms, restaurant, bar, shopping arcade and lifts leading to all floors. The Executive Wing is found at the far end of the lobby mall and has two elevators serving all executive floors, further meeting rooms and the health club. The lobby lounge leads out to the gardens with a swimming pool, the pool restaurant and bar and tennis courts.

On entering the elegant marbled lobby area the reception desk is on the right and directly opposite are two elevators to all floors. There are two further elevators serving the Executive Wing and Hiltonia Club located at the far end of the lobby mall. Immediately opposite the entrance to the hotel is the lobby lounge which leads to the Paddock Bar, Fontana Restaurant and out to the gardens, swimming pool and pool restaurant and bar. Along the entire length of the lobby mall are a number of shops, a bank and various other outlets.

Description

The Hilton Cyprus has a number of boutiques and shops located on the lobby level selling designer fashion labels, jewellery, watches and gifts. There is also a hairdressing salon, Laiki Bank and a shop selling sundry items, newspapers, books, magazines, cards and sweets. The shops are located along the length of the lobby mall.

The Hilton Cyprus has a number of in-house boutiques and shops located on the lobby level running along the entire lobby mall which sell designer men’s and ladies’ fashion, watches, jewellery, perfumes and other gift items. There is a tobacco shop selling a wide range of cigars and cigarettes, a bookshop with magazines, papers and sundry items, Laiki Bank and a hair dressing salon. The shops have varied opening times during the summer and winter months. The Hilton Cyprus is located 20 minutes walking distance from the main shopping and restaurant districts of Nicosia.

The four Hiltonia Suites have a separate bedroom and living room and all have king-size beds. The suites are approached along carpeted corridors and have two external entrances, one into the bedroom and one into the lounge. The entrance hallway into the lounge has a bathroom off to one side and a closet area. The lounge and bedroom are decorated in pastel tones with soft furnishings in shades of creams and pinks. The lounge is furnished with a large L-shaped sofa, coffee table, dining table and four chairs and a television. There is an entrance from the lounge into the bedroom which has a king-size bed with a draped curtain effect headboard, a desk and chair and a cabinet with a television on top. The corridor entrance into the bedroom leads into a small hallway which has closet space, a mini bar area and a further bathroom. Both bathrooms in the suite have a shower over the bath. There is a furnished balcony off the bedroom and lounge areas.

The entrance hallway into the lounge has wooden panelling with mirrors and a full bathroom and closet area off to the side. The lounge is spacious and is decorated with rich wooden panelling along two walls and has a fireplace. The soft furnishings are in pastel tones in shades of coral and blues. The lounge is furnished with a sofa, two comfortable chairs, coffee table, dining table with four chairs and a television. There is an entrance from the lounge into the bedroom which is decorated in pastel tones with colourful matching soft furnishings. The bedroom has a king-size bed, a desk and chair and a television on a cabinet opposite the bed. There are floor-to-ceiling windows with a door leading out to a furnished balcony with a table and chairs and views out over the surrounding city area. There are four Executive Suites located in the Executive Wing. The suites have a Hilton Executive bedroom and bathroom with the added benefit of a separate large lounge and dining area. The suites' bedrooms all have king-size beds and are decorated and furnished in exactly the same manner as the Hilton Executive rooms. The spacious lounge and dining area is decorated in pastel tones with soft furnishings in warm gold, soft yellow, peach, green and blue hues. The rooms are furnished with a sofa and four easy chairs, coffee table, a glass circular dining table with four chairs and a large wooden bookcase. The room has a balcony on two sides one of which adjoins the bedroom balcony which is furnished with table and chairs.

There is one Honeymoon Suite which is located on the seventh floor with views over the swimming pool. The large spacious open plan suite is luxuriously furnished and decorated in an Oriental style with soft furnishings in colours of soft greens, yellows and blues. The extra large king-size bed has flowing drapes on the wall behind the bed and a chaise longue at the foot of the bed. The lounge area has a sofa, two comfortable chairs, coffee table and a television on top of a cabinet. One of the lounge walls has floor-to-ceiling mirrors across the entire wall with a centrally located free standing carved Chinese dark wooden screen placed in the centre. The open plan suite can be divided into two separate rooms by a sliding wooden panel door located midway in the suite. From the bedroom area there is an entrance into a dressing room which leads into the large bathroom with a double vanity unit and steps leading up to a jacuzzi which has a hand held shower.

The Presidential Suite is located on the seventh floor of the hotel. The luxuriously appointed suite is entered through a large marble hallway. The lounge is decorated with light coloured wooden panelling to the walls featuring glass display shelves and cupboards. The far wall of the lounge has a built in central cupboard housing a flat screen television. The soft furnishings are in soft pastel shades of golds, greens and coral and include a sofa and four easy chairs. The lounge leads into the dining room which has an ornate dark wooden sideboard with a large mirror over it and a dining room table and six chairs. Leading off the dining area is a small fully equipped kitchen. The luxurious bedroom is off the hallway and is decorated in soft gold and yellow tones. There is a king-size bed with a chaise longue at the base, a spacious seating area with sofa, chairs, coffee table and a television on an ornate wooden cabinet. There is a furnished balcony looking out over the front of the hotel. The bedroom leads into a spacious dressing room with a dressing table and closet space which leads into a large bathroom.
