Almyra, meaning, “saltiness of the sea”, is located on the southwest coast of the island and is set in eight acres of landscaped gardens edged by the beach with uninterrupted views across the bay to Paphos Harbour. Within walking distance are the shops and cafes of modern Paphos and the archaeological sights of the old town. There are three golf courses and many other attractions in and around the Paphos area. All the hotel’s sleek modern guestrooms and suites are generous in size and provide ample space for families. Almyra has a wide range of rooms with a choice of garden or sea views and a number of suites which have a private terrace right on the seafront. The four restaurants, two in the main building, one next to the pool and one on the beach offer a variety of local and international cuisine. The hotel’s bar in the lobby lounge extends onto a sea view terrace. There are extensive business facilities and Wi-Fi Internet access is available throughout the hotel. There are two heated slate freshwater swimming pools (one designed for children) surrounded by spacious sun terraces and leading on to the beach. The hotel offers a wide range of facilities including water sports, tennis, table tennis, indoor gym with sauna, in-room spa treatments and extensive facilities for children.

Almyra Hotel is located on Cyprus' southwest coast in Paphos, the legendary birthplace of Aphrodite, the Goddess of Love and Beauty. Set in eight acres of landscaped gardens with direct access to Paphos beachfront, the hotel has sweeping views across the bay towards the medieval castle and harbour of Paphos. Within 5 minutes walking distance are shops, cafes and the archaeological sights of the old town including the House of Dionysos with its magnificent Roman mosaics. A short drive from the Almyra are three eighteen hole golf courses. Paphos International Airport is located 8 kilometres away and Larnaca International Airport is 130 kilometres away.

Layout Description
The Almyra is set in eight acres of landscaped gardens with uninterrupted views across the bay. The whitewashed hotel is rectangular in shape and has a number of separate suites located on the beachfront. Entering the lobby, the reception desk is to the left with the elevators just beyond. The lobby has a large seating area and Flavours at Helios Bar and Restaurant are located here. The central spiral stairway leads down to Mosaic Restaurant with this lower level leading out to the gardens, pool, beach and Notios and Ouzeri Restaurants.

The marbled lobby is a large open plan area with reception, lobby lounge, Flavours at Helios Restaurant and Helios Lounge Bar and Terrace. There are floor-to-ceiling windows with views out to the gardens and Mediterranean Sea making the room bright and airy. There is also a surrounding terrace. The large area is decorated and furnished in a minimalistic style with a fusion of Japanese/Mediterranean and Cypriot accents. The lobby area is on level two with elevators to all floors which are located just beyond the reception desk.

The hotel's Boutique Mare Nostrum is located in the entrance courtyard of the hotel and sells a range of designer goods as well as sundry items needed on holidays. The boutique is usually open from 09:30 to 19:00 on weekdays and from 09:30 to 13:00 and 15:00 to 18:00 on weekends.

The Almyra’s rooms and suites are decorated in a fusion of Japanese and modern Mediterranean styles. The rooms are all decorated with the same look of the hotel's design continuing the ethos and ambience of cool comfort. The minimalistic rooms have modern amenities and their simple lines and neutral and earth colours give a feeling of openness, coolness, light and space. All the rooms have custom designed furniture, can fit an extra bed or cot, have a sea or a garden view and either a private terrace, balcony or floor-to-ceiling sliding windows.

Kyma Suites are Almyra's signature suites and situated in the gardens in an exclusive seafront position, close enough to hear the waves ("Kyma" in Greek) of the Mediterranean. These spacious open-plan suites have an open plan sitting and bedroom area with spectacular sea views. The suites are furnished and decorated in the same way as the other guest rooms and open onto a private seafront terrace with a sofa and table. A king-size day-bed on the lawn and a unique roof terrace with custom-made furniture add an extra touch to the suites. Kyma suites can accommodate an extra bed for children under 12 years of age or a baby cot.
